If you no longer need Vinyl to record and transcribe your Zoom meetings, you can disconnect Zoom at any time. This will stop the Vinyl Meeting Recorder from automatically joining your scheduled meetings.

Disconnect Zoom from the Integrations Menu

To remove Zoom from your account:

  1. Go to Integrations in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Zoom and click Disconnect.

  3. Confirm that you want to remove the connection and follow the prompts.

Once disconnected, Vinyl will no longer access your Zoom meetings, and the meeting recorder will not join future calls.

What Happens After Disconnecting?

Your past meeting transcriptions and summaries will remain in Vinyl, so you can still access any notes from previous calls. However, new Zoom meetings will not be recorded or transcribed until you reconnect Zoom.

If you ever need to restore the connection, you can do so at any time by following the connection steps again.

If you decide to reconnect Zoom in the future, Vinyl will pick up where it left off, making it easy to resume recording and transcribing your meetings.
