Vinyl's FYI integration automatically files your meeting notes and recordings to the right client in FYI Documents after each meeting completes.
How it works
Once your meeting finishes processing, Vinyl matches the meeting participants to FYI contacts using email addresses and files the notes accordingly. This usually happens within a few minutes of your meeting ending.
Manually syncing a meeting to FYI
If a meeting didn't file automatically, or you want to choose exactly which FYI entity it's filed under, you can trigger a manual sync:
Open the meeting in Vinyl
Click Sync to FYI
Select the correct client or matter and confirm
This gives you full control over where each meeting is filed.
If the sync isn't working
The most common reason notes don't appear in FYI is an email address mismatch, the participant's email in Vinyl doesn't match their email in FYI.
Check that the meeting participant's email matches exactly what's on their FYI contact record. If everything looks correct and it's still not syncing, contact our support team with:
