Creating visual diagrams in Studio

Studio can generate visual diagrams directly from your meeting content, entity structures, flowcharts, mind maps, SOPs, and more.

Overview

Studio isn't just a Q&A tool, it can also generate visual diagrams based on what was discussed in your meetings. If you discussed an entity structure, a decision process, a workflow, or a complex relationship, you can ask Studio to turn it into a visual diagram.

What types of diagrams can Studio create?

Studio supports a wide range of diagram types, including:

  • Entity relationship diagrams — useful for mapping client structures, related entities, trusts, and corporate groups

  • Decision flowcharts — great for mapping out a process or decision tree discussed in the meeting

  • Workflow / sequence diagrams — visualise a step-by-step process or system interaction

  • Mind maps — summarise key themes and ideas from a meeting visually

  • SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), if you've walked through a process in a meeting, Studio can document it visually

  • User permission diagrams — map out roles and access levels discussed

  • Product / project roadmaps — visualise timelines and priorities mentioned in the meeting

If you're not sure what would be most useful, you can ask Studio to suggest diagram types based on your meeting content.

How to create a diagram

  1. Open a meeting in Vinyl and click the Studio tab on the right

  2. Type a prompt describing what you want, for example:

    • "Can you create an entity structure diagram based on what we discussed?"

    • "Create a decision flowchart for the tax planning process we talked through."

    • "Build a mind map of the key themes from this meeting."

    • "Draft an SOP based on the onboarding process we described."

  3. Studio will generate the diagram directly in the chat window

  4. If the result isn't quite right, refine your prompt and Studio will regenerate it

Saving your diagrams

Once you're happy with a diagram, you can:

  • Screenshot it — the quickest way to grab it for use elsewhere

  • Download as PDF — available for most diagram outputs

  • Copy the content — paste into an email, document, or client note

Diagrams are also stored in your Past Chats within that meeting, so you can come back and find them later.

Tips for getting the best results

  • The more detail discussed in the meeting, the better the diagram will be. Studio draws directly from the transcript.

  • Be specific in your prompt, "entity structure diagram" will produce a more targeted result than "create a diagram".

  • You can combine multiple meetings in one Studio session and ask for a diagram that spans all of them.

  • If you want to see what's possible, ask: "What diagram types could you create from this meeting?", Studio will suggest the most relevant options based on your content.
