Vinyl lets you tailor how the bot looks and sounds in meetings to reflect your firm’s brand. Whether it's giving the bot a professional name or uploading custom visuals, this helps create a consistent and polished client experience.
How to update Vinyl’s appearance
To update how Vinyl looks and what it's called in meetings:
Log in to your Vinyl account
Go to My Settings
Under the General tab, go to your Team Information
From this section you can:
Rename Vinyl to something that better suits your firm (e.g. “Your Practice Assistant” or “Meeting Recorder”)
Enforce a bot name, toggle this on to apply the same name across your whole team account
Customise your bot image (recording), this image is shown once Vinyl starts recording
Customise your bot image (not recording), this image is shown when Vinyl joins but hasn’t started recording
⚠️ Only the Master Admin can change bot images. Team members won’t be able to upload a different image individually.

Recommended file type: JPG
Recommended size: 640 × 360 pixels
Max file size: 1.8MB
