By default, Vinyl is set to join and record your scheduled meetings. If there’s a meeting you’d prefer not to record, you can easily turn off Vinyl’s auto-join setting. Here’s how:
Open Your Schedule
Go to the Schedule tab on the left-hand side of your Vinyl dashboard.
This will show a list of your upcoming meetings.
Find the Meeting
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate the meeting you want to update.
Turn Off the Recording
Next to the meeting, look for the Record toggle switch. Click it to turn it off. Once disabled, Vinyl won’t join the meeting or capture any content.
You can switch it back on anytime before the meeting if you change your mind.
If you’re unsure whether a meeting is set to record or not, the Schedule tab will show you at a glance which ones are enabled.
