Manage Your Meeting Recordings in Vinyl

Vinyl gives you full control over your meeting recordings, from updating attendee details to refining summaries and action items. Here’s how to make quick edits so your records stay accurate and useful.

Edit Meeting Attendees

  1. Go to Recordings and select the meeting you want to update.

  2. Under the Attendees section, find the person you want to update.

  3. Click the three dots (⋯) next to their name, then choose Edit Attendee.

  4. Type in their name, then click anywhere outside the box to save.

Remove a Meeting Attendee

  1. Select the meeting from your Recordings tab.

  2. Under Attendees, click the three dots (⋯) next to the person you want to remove.

  3. Select Remove Attendee to take them off the list.

Edit the Meeting Summary

  1. Open the meeting you’d like to update.

  2. In the Summary section, click Edit.

  3. Make your changes, then click Save.

Edit Key Discussion Items or Action Items

  1. Select the relevant meeting from your Recordings list.

  2. Hover over the item you'd like to edit, you'll see a pencil icon.

  3. Click the pencil, make your updates, and hit Save.

Keeping your meeting info clean and accurate helps your team stay aligned and saves time later when you’re reviewing or sharing notes.
