Video disappears when I click expand in the Transcript tab

What to do when the video recording disappears or goes blank after clicking the expand or maximise button in the Transcript tab.

What's happening

When you click the expand (maximise) button on the video player in the Transcript tab, the video window disappears instead of expanding. This affects the recording video that was moved into the Transcript tab as part of a recent update to the meetings layout.

This issue affects all users in the workspace, not just individual accounts.

Current status

Our team has confirmed this is a known bug and is currently investigating a fix. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Workaround in the meantime

While the expand button is not working, you can still resize the video player by dragging the corners of the playback window. This allows you to make the video larger without using the expand button.

What to do

  • Use the drag-to-resize method above to adjust the video size for now.
