The Vinyl × Ignition integration adds a Draft Proposal action to Ask Vinyl. After an external client meeting, one click drafts a proposal inside Ignition, matched to your service library, grounded in what was actually discussed, and ready for your review before anything goes to the client.

How it works
After an external client meeting, open Ask Vinyl. Click Draft Proposal, or type a request in chat.
Vinyl reads the transcript. It identifies the client, matches the services discussed against your Ignition service library, and builds a draft proposal with real resolved pricing.
Review the proposal card. A summary of the proposed services, prices, and client appears before anything is sent to Ignition. You can adjust details in the follow-up chat, e.g. "switch invoicing to automatic" or "add the advisory service".
Click Create. The proposal is saved as a draft in Ignition. Nothing is created until you confirm, clicking Discard creates nothing.
Send from Ignition. Open the draft in Ignition, make any final adjustments, and send it to your client for signature.
What gets matched from the conversation
Vinyl identifies the work discussed in the meeting and maps it to your existing Ignition service library:
Services and scope mentioned in the conversation
Prices pulled from your Ignition service library, not invented
Client matched from Ignition, or created as a new contact if there's no match (requires your approval)
Nothing is sent to Ignition automatically. Every write, client, service, proposal, shows a review card first.
What if I don't have a full service library in Ignition yet?
If a service discussed isn't in your Ignition library yet, Vinyl can create it — but only via an approval card. It will never add services to your library without you reviewing and confirming them first.
