Studio returned inaccurate or made-up information

What to do if Studio returns details that don't match your meeting, and how your meeting data stays private to your account.

Occasionally, Studio may return a summary or answer that doesn't match what was actually discussed in your meeting. This is a limitation of how AI generates text, not a sign that your data has been mixed with anyone else's.

Your meeting data stays private to your account

Studio only draws on meetings inside your own Vinyl workspace. Your meeting data is isolated to your account, so Studio cannot pull in another customer's meetings or content. If you ever see a result that appears to reference a client, matter, or meeting you never had, it is a generation error rather than data from another account, and we would like to know about it (see below).

Why this can happen

AI models can sometimes "fill in" or misattribute details, especially when:

  • the recording was short or had little clear audio,

  • the question was broad or vague, or

  • several meetings cover similar topics.

Because of this, it's always worth checking the source transcript before relying on an Studio answer.

What to do

  1. Open the meeting Studio referenced and check the transcript directly to confirm what was said.

  2. Rephrase your question to be more specific, for example naming the meeting or date you mean.

  3. If a result references a meeting or matter that isn't yours, or that you never discussed, report it to us in the chat below so our team can investigate.

Still concerned?

If you believe you're seeing content that isn't from your own meetings, chat with us below straight away and our team will look into it for you.
