Pre-Meeting Briefs: walk into every call already prepared

Vinyl automatically prepares a brief for your upcoming meetings — client context, what to be aware of from past conversations, and open threads worth raising. Internal only, never seen by the client.

Before any client call, Vinyl can prepare a brief for you automatically, context on the client, what to be aware of from past conversations, and the open threads worth raising, so you can walk in already prepared.

Getting there

Go to the Upcoming Meetings tab and click into any meeting on your calendar. If Vinyl has enough history and calendar detail to work with, you'll see the brief ready to read before the call starts.

How it's built

The brief is built from two sources:

  • Your meeting history with that client in Vinyl, past summaries, decisions, and action items

  • The calendar invite for the upcoming meeting

The more detail you include in the invite, agenda notes, attendee context, subject line, the sharper and more specific the brief will be. A bare invite with no detail will produce a more general brief.

Who sees it

The brief is internal only. It's your prep sheet for the call, it is never visible to the client and is not included in anything shared externally.
