The Recordings list is where all your completed meetings live. You can choose which columns you see, filter the list down to the meetings you're after, and, if your firm uses FYI or Karbon, check and fix the filing status of a meeting without opening it.
Choose which columns you see
Open the column options above the list and switch individual columns on or off. Turn off the ones you never use and the list becomes much quieter to scan.
Note: Your column choices are yours alone. They follow you between sessions and don't change what anyone else on your team sees.
Filter your recordings
Use the filters above the list to narrow it down. You can combine filters, and clearing them returns you to the full list.
To filter by the type of conversation, see Meeting Type Tags: find any conversation in one click.
See what's been filed to FYI or Karbon
If your firm has FYI or Karbon connected, the Recordings list includes a Synced column and a Sync status filter, so you can see which meetings have made it into your practice management system without opening each one.
The filter has three states:
Not synced — the meeting hasn't been filed. This is the normal state for most meetings, not an error.
Synced — the meeting has been filed to a client in your practice management system.
Needs attention — the sync failed, or the meeting has been edited since it was last filed, so what's in your practice management system is out of date.
Note: If your firm doesn't have a practice management system connected, the Synced column and Sync status filter don't appear and nothing about your list changes.
File a meeting straight from the list
Click a meeting's cell in the Synced column and Vinyl does one of two things:
If the meeting has never been synced — the client picker opens so you can choose where to file it.
If the sync failed, or the meeting has been edited since — Vinyl re-sends it with the current version.
You can still sync from inside a meeting using the sync badge in the meeting header. Filing from the list is a shortcut for working through several meetings at once, not a replacement.
