Where to Find Your Past Recordings in Vinyl

How to find and watch your past meeting recordings in Vinyl, including where to locate the video player when only a transcript is showing.

Finding your past recordings

All your completed meetings are stored in the Recordings section of Vinyl.

  1. Open Vinyl and click the Recordings (camera) icon in the left navigation.

  2. Find the meeting you want and click its title to open it.

  3. Click the Transcript tab.

  4. Click Show Video to watch the recording.

Can't see the Play Audio button?

If the Show Video button isn't visible, make sure you're on the Transcript tab, not the Insights tab. Video playback is only available from the Transcript tab.

Troubleshooting Public Link Access to Recordings

If an external viewer encounters a "video not available" message when accessing a public link to a meeting recording, follow these steps to adjust the share settings:

  1. Open your Vinyl dashboard and navigate to My Settings.

  2. Under the General tab, locate the My Information section.

  3. Open Share Settings and ensure that video access is enabled. If the setting is configured to "summary and transcript only," public link viewers will not be able to watch the video.

  4. Click Save Changes to apply the updated settings.

By enabling video sharing, external viewers will gain access to the recording.

On mobile

Open the Vinyl app and tap Previous at the top of your dashboard to see your past meetings and play them back.
