Getting started with Vinyl

Ready to start capturing, transcribing, and organising your client meetings with Vinyl? Here’s how to set up your account and get up and running in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Vinyl Account

  1. Click on Sign Up

  2. Enter your details then click on Create Account and follow the prompts

  3. Check your email for a verification code

  4. Enter the code back in Vinyl to verify your account


Step 2: Set Up Two-Factor Authentication

After verifying your email, you’ll be asked to set up two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator:

  1. Scan the QR code shown in Vinyl using your Google Authenticator app

  2. Enter the 6-digit code from the app into Vinyl to complete the setup

This step ensures your account is secure and protected.


Step 3: Connect Your Calendar

To get the most out of Vinyl, you’ll need to connect your calendar. This allows Vinyl to detect your meetings, join them automatically, and keep everything linked to the right clients and contacts.

Choose the calendar provider you use:

Once your calendar is connected, Vinyl will begin detecting your meetings so it can join, record, and generate summaries automatically.
