After a meeting ends, Vinyl processes your recording to generate a transcript and AI notes. This usually takes a few minutes, but can take a little longer for longer sessions.
Good to know: A recent update improved processing reliability for very long meetings (90+ minutes), which could occasionally get stuck in earlier versions. If you have an older meeting that got stuck before this update, please contact our support team for manual recovery.
If it's been less than 10 minutes
Hang tight and refresh the page. Your notes will appear once processing is complete.
If it's been 30 minutes or more and nothing has appeared
Check that the meeting appears in your Recordings tab β if it's not there at all, see our article on missing recordings.
If the meeting is there but still showing as processing, it may need a closer look on our end.
If Vinyl is showing an error message asking you to contact support
Sometimes a meeting will reach an error state where processing has failed and Vinyl displays a message prompting you to contact our team. This is different from notes simply being delayed β it means the meeting needs manual attention from our side.
Please reach out to our support team and include:
The meeting title and the date it occurred
The approximate start time
A screenshot of the error message if you have one
Our team can investigate and recover the meeting directly. We respond within 2 hours.

How long it's been showing as processing
